1. OIT is willing to assist the Office of Communications in the
effort to provide for facsimilie transmission in the Agency network. I
would prefer that we launch a mutual effort to explicitly define the
requirement. You also mention discussions concerning sufficient computer
resources to meet capacity and performance objectives. I believe that we
need a ,clear definition of these objectives.
2. I have asked of OIT/EG to work with you to
produce a mutually acceptable requirements docu nt. He can be reached

but I expect that this document can be produced in sixty days.
