Chiefs (WAOCC) Conference
1. Recently we discussed the possibility of your briefing
the WAOCC Conference on the key aspects of your tasking. Again,
I would emphasize the important role that Washington area center
chiefs would play in any crisis situation and the high utility we
would expect from their cognizance of your mission.
2. The attachment lists the people who would normally
attend the WAOCC Conference. You may want to peruse the list to
be certain there are no reservations with the group. We are
looking forward to your briefing which will be held at Department
of the Treasury on 27 January 1984. We will provide other
details later.
