1. Considering that the NIOWON telephone conferencing arrangement, which
was presented at the WAOCC meeting, was informally prepared by DCA, it
might be appropriate to review the specifications once again at the 27 July
1983, WAOCC meeting in order to obtain final approval or any suggestions for
system modifications. After the 27 July meeting we might approach DCA with an
official request to provide us with a system cost and a firm technical
proposal. Also, it would be appropriate for the group to discuss the resource
options outlined in memorandum of 27 May 1983. Additional
resource strategies might also be discussed.
