1. In a previous memo to the members of the National Intelligence
Topics (NITs) Working Group, the Intelligence Producers Council Staff (IPCS)
had informed the members that we planned to establish and maintain for the
Intelligence Community a centralized listing of key policymakers at and above
the Deputy Assistant Secretary level. This was to be accomplished throu h
inputs from the organizations represented on the NITs Working Group.
2. The current JCS representative to the NITs Working Group,
CSP-3A, DIA, has requested that the IPCS formally request the Office
of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to provide the position titles, names, phone
numbers, and current mailing addresses of your organization's key
policymakers. If a position is vacant, please indicate, and then provide the
relevant data when the position is filled.

3. It is extremely important that the Intelligence Community have an
accurate listing of its key policymakers so that we can ensure that these
individuals are receiving the intelligence support and products that are
crucial to the performance of their functions.
