1. The Defense Intelligence Agency's Attache Hall of Fame honors military
attaches who have distinguished themselves in the service of their country
while serving as attaches. The Hall of Fame display is located in the
Directorate for Attaches and Operations in the DIA facility at 3100 Clarendon
Boulevard, Arlington. Following the initial inductions into the Hall of Fame
in. 1988, DIA plans to induct up to six new honorees annually.
2. Nominations for induction are intended to come from a wide variety of
senior U.S. government officials. DIA would welcome nominations of former
attaches for a place of honor among this cadre of distinguished personnel.
Nominations may come at any time during the year, but we hope to make this
year's selections before Christmas.
3. A list of military personnel already selected for the Attache Hall of Fame
is enclosed (end l 1), along with relevant information on the general criteria
and selection process (end l 2). DIA hopes that you will be able to help us
add to the distinguished roster of outstanding attaches who have performed so
well.
