SOUTH KOREA: MILITARY INTERVENTION IN DOMESTIC POLITICS
This Interagency Intelligence Assessment was prepared under the
auspices of the National Intelligence Officer for East Asia. The
Assessment was coordinated at the working level within the Central
Intelligence Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the National
Security Agency, and the Intelligence organizations of the
Departments of State, the Army, the Navy, and the Air Force, and
Headquarters, Marine Corps. Information available as of 31 August
1987 was used in preparation of this Assessment.
