GUN HOWITZER M-1978 WAS NEWLY OBSERVED IN LIBYA. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: FIVE OF THESE GUN/HOWITZERS WERE IN FRONT OF A
VEHICLE STORAGE SHED THEY WERE PROBABLY
DELIVERED TO TARABULUS PORT FACILITIES

HE SHIP WAS AT PLOCE PORT FACILITIES
IA, WHERE FIVE GUN/HOWITZERS ON
RAILCARS WERE ALSO OBSERVED. THIS WAS THE FIRST OBSERVATION
OF THIS WEAPON OUTSIDE OF CZECHOSLOVAKIA. (SWN)
TARABULUS ARMY BARRACKS PRINN IS 5 NM SOUTHEAST OF THE PORT
FACILITIES AT TARABULUS. (SWN)
