1. SIGNIFICANCE: TEN FLOGGER ARE PROBABLY PREPARING TO DEPART.
EITHER TO THEIR HOME BASE AT BENINA AIRFIELD
FOR A MISSION INTO CHAD. (SWN)

2. REMARKS: FIFTEEN FLOGGER ARE AT THIS AIRFIELD. TEN OF THE
FLOGGER ARE PROBABLY PREPARING FOR FLIGHT OPERATIONS. THE
WINGS OF THE TEN FLOGGER ARE SWEPT FORWARD AND EXTERNAL FUEL
TANKS ARE VISIBLE. NO MISSILES ARE OBSERVED ON THESE
AIRCRAFT. THE FORWARD SWEPT WINGS, THE ATTACHED FUEL TANKS,
AND THE LACK OF MISSILES INDICATE THAT THESE AIRCRAFT MAY BE
PREPARING TO ROTATE BACK TO THEIR HOME BASE; HOWEVER, A STRIKE
MISSION INTO CHAD CANNOT BE RULED OUT. (SWN)
KUFRA AIRFIELD, APPROXIMATELY 200 NM NORTHEAST OF THE CHAD
BORDER, SUPPORTS A FISEBED FIGHTER UNIT AND SERVES AS A MAJOR
SUPPORT/LOGISTICS BASE IN SOUTHERN LIBYA. (SWN)
