BEIRUT INTERNATIONAL AIRFIELD (SWN)
2. REMARKS: PROBABLE 120MM MORTARS ARE DEPLOYED IN FOUR OF THE
MORTAR POSITIONS. THE FIFTH MORTAR POSITION IS UNOCCUPIED.
RECENT SHELLINGS OF THE AIRFIELD AND THE TOWN OF KHALDAH, JUST
SOUTH OF THE AIRFIELD AT 33-48-OON 035-29-15E, MAY HAVE COME
FROM THE VICINITY OF THIS MORTAR SITE WHICH IS 0.5 NM EAST OF
ASH SHUWAYFAT. (SWN)
