SEEN AT LOCATIONS IN THE ARAYYA AREA NEAR ALAYH AND IN THE SUQ
AL GHARB AREA. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: A LEBANESE ARMY AUTOMATIC WEAPONS SITE (GRAPHIC 1)
CONSISTING OF AT LEAST FOUR WEAPONS POSITIONS IS IN THE TOWN OF
ARAYYA AT 33-49-50N 035-35-25E. ONE CARGO TRUCK AND ONE TENT
ARE PRESENT. THE WEAPONS SITE IS JUST NORTHWEST OF THE
ROADBLOCK ON THE NORTH SIDE OF ALAYH. (SWN)
SEVERAL BUILDINGS IN THE ALAYH AND SUQ AL GHARB AREAS HAVE BEEN
DAMAGED AS A RESULT OF ARTILLERY SHELLING. AT LEAST ONE
BUILDING IN THE SUC AL GHARB AREA HAS BEEN HEAVILY DAMAGED
