1. SIGNIFICANCE: U.S. TROOPS PROBABLY HAVE ARRIVED. (SWN)
2. REMARKS: NUMEROUS PERSONNEL/TROOPS AND SEVERAL VEHICLES ARE
NEAR A C-141 AT THE EAST END OF THE RUNWAY. THE
PERSONNEL/TROOPS MAY HAVE ARRIVED ON THE C-141. NINE 105MM
HOWITZERS ARE DEPLOYED NEAR THE RUNWAY. IN ADDITION TO THE
C-141 STARLIFTER, ONE C-130 HERCULES, AND ONE CH-53 HEAVY
ASSAULT TRANSPORT HELICOPTER ALSO HAVE ARRIVED SINCE 25
OCTOBER. ONE ADDITIONAL C-130 IS IN FLIGHT NEAR THE AIRFIELD.
FIVE UH-60 BLACKHAWK UTILITY HELICOPTERS REMAIN. NO UNUSUAL
ACTIVITY IS OBSERVED AT THE U.S. MEDICAL COLLEGE OR AT THE
CUBAN BARRACKS. (SWN)
