SUBJECT:
1. fan 6 December I forwarded to you a memorandum
'Photographic Reconnaissance of Cuba" (TS-185148) setting forth
in an attachment the intelligence requirements for ovexhead
photographic reconnaissance of Cuba as approved by the United
,States Intelligence Board on 5 December 1962.
2. The purpose of this meme~randum is to inform you
that the reference is being disseminated to the United States
Intelligence Board and its Committee on Overhead Reconnaissance
for g~Ciidance. It is my understanding that you agree that my memo-
randum of 6 December completes the act:ian to the National Security
Action Memorandum No. 208.
3. Far your information, I informed the Board on
12 December of your injunction to supplement the Guban flights by
energetic collection of information by all other available means.
I urged that they examine immediately the status of other collection
for review at the Board next week.
