Yesterday morning the Planning Committee on Communications met, I am personally satisfied with the course of action outlined by the Committee and trust you will be likewise, 2. In the course of the next two and a half weeks, the Committee members will hold two sessions a week, the time to be devoted to receiving 25 1A briefings on the various as acts of the x communications systems including a full briefing b on the existing capabilities (which I gather are more extensive than many are aware of), current experi- ments being conducted by DD/P on the use of telatape, diplomatic pouch, internal dissemination procedures and practices, and new file reference systems known to or sponsored by OCR. 3.
