Such an effort requires more as well as technical operations in the Field. and the Z1. aurae of discussions with Air Force representatives it was apparent that Air Force wants to 'work closely tent of its geodetic control program. Our response indicated that this could probably be worked out successfully if properly requested. I awed Col. Eldridge, the local, working spearhead of the Air odetie control activity, who would be the top Air Force officer Program and he indicated that it would be Maj. Gen. Walsh agreed that any request for extensive collaboration on control activity would properly come from the senior Air Force to the senior CIA official concerned. We have received other as that Array and Navy would also be interested in extending the photography for geodetic control purpose. 4+. During the course of our briefing on ETA R & D and technical to date which would be pertinent to a geodetic control program, tellar method of camera calibration and our plan to !A personnel when available to forward areas for base survey to enable us to determine camera interlock angles and other Gently needed pkiotogrammetric data which are also required in geodetic control positioning and control extension. The Air Force representatives were very much interested in this prospect.
