COMOR reports that in accordance with paragraph l c of USIB-D-41.14/53 a review has been made of the coverage of Cuba for the 2 weeks ending 31 July. The reporting period, based on the BRASS KNOB report of COMOR Working Group, is 1-14 August (CWG- BK-38). During this period 11 BRASS KNOB missions were flown. Area coverage in photography with 25% or less cloud cover amounted to 58% in the first week of August and improved to 81% in the second week. "Island coverage as feasible. " Of about 185 targets 36 were not covered in the first week, only 2 in the second. "Coverage of highest priority targets" was good. All were covered during the period. 2. Based on preliminary reports of the missions on 15, 16, 17, and 18 August, coverage of the highest priority targets was satisfactory on the first 3 days. The mission of 17 August included coverage of Casilda and Santa Lucia which were specially designated operational targets. The pilot estimated 40% coverage on the 18th. The mission for the 19th was cancelled due to anticipated poor weather conditions.
