SUBJECT: H.R. 2574, Presidential Report on Implications
of Further Conventional Arms Reductions
Attached for your information is a copy of H.R. 2574, which
would require the President to provide Congress a report on the
foreign policy and military implications of further NATO and
Warsaw Pact alliance reductions in conventional military forces
in Europe. The bill was introduced in the House by
Representative Gejdenson on 7 June 1989, and was referred to
the Foreign Affairs Committee.
