I am sending you the language which we believe should be
added to Section 319 of the Interior Appropriations Act in
order to protect Intelligence Community equities. Section
319(a)(6) should be amended to become Section 319(a)(6)(A). A
new Section 319(a)(6)(B) should be added which would state:
"Notwithstanding clause (A) of paragraph (6), statements filed
involving intelligence matters shall only be reported to the
Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, the House Permanent
Select Committee on Intelligence, the Senate Appropriations
Committee and the House Appropriations Committee in accordance
with procedures agreed to by those committees and shall not be
made available for public inspection."
