SUBJECT: Draft of IIM: Soviet Antiarmor Programs
1. Subject assessment was prepared by the USA Missile Intelligence
Agency (MIA). It supplements our recent Soviet Tank Programs IIM and like it
stresses the technical aspects of Soviets antiarmor weaponry. Given the
present dialogue on conventional weapons and high technolo res onse, we
believe this assssment is both timely and informative.
2. This draft is one of the finest initial products received by this
office. After our review we could recommend little substantive im rovement
having followed meticulously the proposed TOR and Concept Paper.
3. Recommend SRP review and early convocation of NFIB representatives
(late July) to review this excellent study. We plan to produce two versions,
