This will confirm conversations among the Deputy
Director of Logistics, Mr. and
25X1 Messrs. of your
office regarding the referent memorandum. To wit: Rep-
resentatives from the Office of Logistics will contact
25X1 Mr. Equipment Division, OTS, and arrange
for further discussions on the subject. Further, OL will
continue with. its in-house study of the current PPA/PRA
procedures to determine whether and if such procedures
need to be modified, discontinued, or continued. We have
tentatively agreed that the OL study should be complete on
or about 15 December, after which OL will contact O/PPB and
the Office of Finance as well as any other interested or-
ganizational elements for a further and more comprehensive
study.
