Handling of Compartmented Materia in IAJE System
13 July 1981
1. On 7 July the undersianed acc. 6.8 '4 MI - Branch to a meeting
at Headquarters with of DDSU to discuss
the problems of recording our review action on compartmented material.
2. Originally, had objected to our recording some record groups
in DARE because of their sensitivity; the material was, therefore, being re-
viewed and returned to AARC without being entered in our system. I asked for
the meeting so that I might explore the extent of the problem and make plans, if
necessary, for the development of an auxiliary system to accomodate this and
other material of similar sensitivity.
3. After hearing a description of the DARE system and its security con-
trols, the SU representatives agreed to 'econsider their objections. Several
boxes of the records in question have been sent to them for study. They will
let us know if we may proceed with input to the press system or if we must
hold input until the auxiliary system is developed.
