LOGNOTE -- Chief, Operations Group, 8 July 1983
1. I Talked with outgoing DDI Rep to EUCCM,
Stuttgart. He went on at great length about the EUCOM Commander's
range of information needs--Europe, Africa, the Near East to
South Asia--and the need for rapid response to his queries. I
showed him the list of requirements EUCOM has on file and pointed
out that EUCOM is only one of hundreds of lateral service
recipients; if he wants to receive the types of information he
says he will need, under shifting circumstances, he rust keep
his requirements up to date with LRB. He said he would make
some changes in his requirements before he left the building
and make sure he knows how to to get in contact with LRB
once he gets to post.
