FY-89: - 1 circuit - NPIC to DIAC, Bolling AFB - 56 KBPS
JUSTIFICATION:
Required as part of the DAIRS to transmit digital imagery and message
communications to Image Analysts between NPIC and DIAC.
TIME REQUIREMENT:
4th quarter
IMPACT OF LACK OF SERVICE ON OTHER PROGRAMS:
DIA/DX Imagery Analysts at NPIC will not be able to receive digital imagery
and message communications from the DAIRS at DIAC.
NOTE: DIA will provide external communications lines and crypto for each end.

COMMENT : For the most part, existing TETRAHEDRON (NSA controlled)
and CIA controlled secure communications links will be
available at no cost. However, additional multiplexors
will be required to provide the 56 kbps service.
