All right #08, the time is now 9:15 hours. We have a sealed envelope containing the photograph of an object. I want you now to relax, relax and concentrate. Focus your attention on this object. Describe your impressions of this object. PAUSE #08: This is like a a platform There's a lot of white, very white that's surrounded by a like a +02 double rail that you'd have on a ship. It has something to do...like a chute....very rapid impressions of...very shiny chutes and a bunch of an entire apparatus aligned to it. +05 This is the upper portion. This platform is on top of something. PAUSE I see on a ship, dockside. This looks like a...like a mer- chant ship as opposed to a, a war ship. The thing that keeps coming back is that little white fence with a very, very white with a double strand. PAUSE This is a....fainter image, but has something to do with a with a wooden dock, I think, piled on it, but it's not a modern dock and it's as if it were in a somewhat isolated area that there aren't too many buildings that you would associate with shipping and docking. Beyond the piers like sand dunes and they're tall...uncultivated hay and grass. That's about the best I can do this time. #14: Tell me more about the object in the envelope. #08: It has something to do with the chute. #14: What type of chute? Approved For Release 2 -00788R000500830002-5 Approved For Release 2000/08/0 R000500830002-5 +10 #08: I don't know...it's a launching chute I don't know whether it's got a guidance system associated with the ...apparatus that looks like radar...like chutes, I don't know. And, it's on a platform of sorts. Then when I go below the platform I have difficulty transpire. As opposed to the platform which looks like a deep deck and the fence is very white...stranded like on a ship Don't know if it's a I got more the impression that's a chute to launch something as opposed to a big gun and then the entire pare- phenalia.......body of water and pier isolated pier and kind of uninhabited surroundings just following. PAUSE "cause everything associated w-is, points almost vertically.skyward......and the (mumbling) impression of +15 a launch and a mechanism device, and there's a predominant, there's a, there's a purpose to this thing. That's all I gettin'. I can't be fore specific. I got another impression coming up. It has to do with globes. At a storage area, but that's independent not photographing it. It's associated with, but it's not in the photograph. It's independent. These close (phonetic) are storage areas for (mumble) under controlled conditions for this apparatus, I don't know. PAUSE #08: I'm looking for something other than the ship COMSEC and I can't see anything else. #14: I have no further questions at this time. Is there anything else you can add about the object in the envelope? +20 #08: No....Just a last picture....and that is....next to the ship, next to the pier there's something about tracked vehicle, like a tank. It doesn't appear to be a tank. Has to do with transportation. That's all. #14: Okay. All right #08. Why don't you tell me about these drawings that you've got here? #08: Okay. My attention became focused on a, what appeared to be the deck of a ship with these little white posts, extremely white, very, very white. And, uh, with these lines that, double lines that kind of sort of constituted a little fence here. And, that was to, seemed to house a tube, which I thought was a launching tube. At first I thought it might be a, an artillery type piece and so on, and so on. But the more I went into it the more it appeared that, uh, it was some type of launching tube. And, as a backup mechanism to Approved For Release 2000/b L4t 788R000500830002-5 Approved For Release 200 -00788R000500830002-5 #08: that launching tube there was apparatus on the kind of, uh, mass type thing with radar and what have you. That was, I got the impression served as a type of' guidance system. And the only significant thing that appeared in there that it was, just wasn't straight up, there were, uh, steel support girders holding that up on the other side. When I, when I tried to go beyond that it seemed as if I was on a ship but everything kept coming quite dark. There was a fall-off area from the front:ofthe fence, from this plat- form onto something else. And I couldn't make out the bottom of what thims were, it was very, very dark. Then I tried to look away from where I was and, uh, got the impression then that this, this thing was right next to a, uh, pier. And there was something primitive about the pier. It was not in a heavy traffic area. It looked like an old wooden pier. And in the second sketch- #14: Okay, this- #08: 0o ahead. #14: This tube that, uh, you described- #08: Yeah. #14: -is that what you were referring to as chutes? #08: Yeah, the launching chute. I just took it one step at a time. And, let's just say that that apparatus if it were a ship I'll mark it by an "X" on sketch number 2. And to the left of that was the pier, and beyond that a very desolate area that appeared to be like sand dunes with old hay growing here and there and kind of wavy. Ahd it looked like, as if it would, all of this were taking place in a very desolate area. Okay. Then I tried to get some further impressions or data that might be connected with the entire thing and the only thing that came up was like an old tank. Oh, like an old World War I tank, it wasn't as wide, it was very short like, like you see in front of the Fort Meade Museum. And I got there the imp- ression that this was for transportation type purposes and it was associated with this apparatus. #14: Okay. #08: And that's all I could get. #14: d ery good. End of session. #08: Right.
