MEMORANDUM FOR ADCSOPS-HUMINT
SUBJECT: Information Briefing for Senator Clairborne Pell
1. (FOUO) On 29 September 1982, from-1700-1800 hours, a GRILL FLAME information
briefing was presented to The Honorable Clairborne Pell,, Senator, Rhode Island
in his office at US Capitol. Briefing was arranged by Dr. Jack Vorona,, Assistant
Vice Director for Scientific & Technical Intelligence, and concurred in by
CG, INSCOM and ACSI, DA. Although Senator Pell had invited 8 members of the
Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) to attend the briefing none were
present. Attendees were:

3. (U) Briefing is attached as Inclosure 1.
4. (S/NOFORN) The briefing was well received. Senator Pell had had previous
briefings concerning: parapsychology.from Dr..Vorona. He was also acquainted
with the work of Dr. Robert Jahn, Dean, College of Engineering, Princeton
University. Senator Pell stated that while he. could not assist in FY83, he
offered to try to help in the future.
