SUBJECT: Support of INSCOM Initiatives with P6 Funds (U)

a. Memorandum. Under Secretary of Defense for Research and
Engineering (USDRE), dated 19 Jan 83, Subject: GRILL FLAME
Activity (U).
b. Briefing for Assistant Secretary of the Army, Research,
Development and Acquistion (ASA, RD&A), 16 Mar 83, Subject:
INSCOM Initiatives for P6 Funding (U).
2. (S/NOFORN) Referenced USDRE memorandum authorized use of P6
funds to support INSCOM activity.
3. (S/NOFORN) During referenced briefing the ASA, RD&A,
approved in concept, the expenditure of P6 funds to support five
INSCON initiatives.
4. (S/NOFORN) The acquisition of required biofeedback
equipment for use in training and pilot testing was initiative
number five. Attached is a list of equipment.
5. (U) Request authorization and $26,500 to purchase the
equipment.
