and the. Vice President was interested and impxessed? Also present at the
E~ri.efing were Admiral Daniel J. Murphy ~C/S), Mr? Donald Gregg (Asst t.o VP,
National Security Affairs), and LTC Fry (Military Assistant).
3. (S/NgFg12N) CDIA and Army INSCgM efforts were reuiewed and three. INSCgM
pra,~ects were used as examples: Project 4Q2 (Typhoan :~ubr~uris~e) ^, Prr~ jest
8Ctg3~D) t~K--1 tank); and Project 8034 (KGB agent),
4. (C) Dr? Verona was told by Adm Murphy that he teed not initiated. the
briefing, so it appears that the Vice President personally requested it?
