SUBJECT: Summary of FONECON between Russell TARG, SRI, and LTC WATT, 2 June 1980 (U)
1. (S) On 2 June 1980, Russell TARG, SRI, called and asked permission to
provide some material to MacDonald-Douglas from some of our earlier training
sessions. TARG maintained that MacDonald-Douglas has a new procedure for judging
remote viewing sessions so he would like to send them some sessions involving
our personnel.
2. (S) TARG assured me that all material provided to MacDonald-Douglas
would be carefully edited and that there would be no record indicating the source
of the material. TARG said he would be providing, if we agreed, MacDonald-Douglas
transcripts and slides of a half dozen sessions conducted concerning targets in the
bay area. TARG claimed they had little data concerning slide sessions other than
that done by our personnel.
3. (U) I informed TARG that I would forward his request to OACSI and get back
to him later in the day.

NOTE: I received verbal approval for allowing TARG to forward material as
requested from MAJ William Stoner, OACSI, on 2 June 1980. This approval
was then relayed to Russell TARG by myself.
