Site is a type of storage area. Three functional areas were
described: special storage, technical support/monitoring, and
equipment storage/transportation.
The special storage area is made up of evenly spaced,
staggered, earth-covered, mound-shaped, steel and
concrete-buttressed bunkers. Each bunker is environmentally
controlled and interconnected by curving tunnels. Glass
viewing ports allow visual observation of bunker stocks. The
tunnnels are accessed through the support area building. This
building is continuously manned; monitoring of stocks is a key
activity.
Oblong/tapered, metallic cylindrical containing vessels,
(possibly bombs/shells), are layed out on racks within the
bunkers. Colors associated with these objects, (possibly
identification markings), are grey, silver, black and white.
Thick, acid, slightly rancid, burned, fetid smells are present.
There is an occasional (token) rotation of stocks. A lorry
is employed to move stocks in and out of the site from the
transportation area.
