METHODOLOGY: CRV VIEWER IDENTIFICATION: 025
EVALUATION:
MONITOR: 018
1. (S/NF/SK) SITE: Water-slide cable at Crystal Lake, Texas.
2. (S/NF/SK) MISSION: To access and describe the target using
stages I through VI, with particular attention to Stage VA:
dowsing techniques.
3. (S/NF/SK) VIEWER CUEING: Encrypted coordinates
3230N/9230W.
4. (S/NF/SK) COMMENTS:
a. Inclemencies: None reported.
b. 025 got all major gestalts in stage 1 and proceded
directly through stage 4. Stage 5 was tried, without much
success, and a break was taken.
c. After the break, 025 received the class in the last
form of stage 6 functioning to be tried: Stage 6 "dowsing", in
both its "allegorical" and "actual" formats.
d. Immediately after the training, 025 returned to
session, first performing "allegorical stage 6 dowsing" (i.e.
dowsing on a blank sheet of paper, the results of which would be
transferred to a map), then "actual" (i.e., dowsing directly on
the map).

e. 025 did an excellent job on the "allegorical" dowsing,
indicating the target at a point on the map (map range: 905 X 680
miles) which was approximately 17 miles from the actual location.
(NOTE these results were not given to 025 during the session.)
f. 025 was then tasked to perform an "actual" stage 6
dowsing, and warned ahead of time that AOL can be a problem.
(i.e.0 a major gestalt of the site was water, and the Gulf of
Mexico was at the bottom of the map. Also, 025 had already
indicated a place on the map with the other method, and was
warned against allowing that previous result to color the present
form of dowsing. 025 performed excellently, indicating the
general area of the site with accuracy.
5. EVALUATIONu
a. Teacher'su This session completed 025's familiarization
with all present forms of Stage 6. 025 accomplished the dowsing
with exceptionally excellent results.

Favorite swimming
hole since the
Roaring Twenties
queals, shrieks, and
screams drown out the
splashes as children and
- adventurous adults whiz
down the slides and over-the-water
trolleys into Crystal Lake.
Uey, Mom, watch! I'm gonna
do cannonball," the youngster
ye,s to a woman lounging on the
warm sand. Then the freckled boy
turns into a tightly coiled ball that
disappears in a column of water.
"Did ya see me, Morn?" he hollers
as his head emerges from the
spring-fed lake. He waits briefly
for acknowledgement before pad-
dling back out to the diving plat-
form to pet feet his new-found
talent.
"If you swing your legs back and
forth as you go down the cable,
you'll go faster," says a teenage
girl high above him.
Suddenly, she grabs the bar and
kicks off the 70-foot trolley plat-
form. With the grace of a gymnast,
she streaks down the cable over the
water. Butjt's all knees and elbows
when she lOosens her grip at the
end of the line. Her poise vanishes
as she screams and grabs her nose
before plunging into the cool water.

Adventurers await their turn to zip down the cable of the 70-foot-high trolley, while others
swim, slide, dive, and just dangle their feet in the refreshing waters of Crystal Lake.
Folks around the East Texas
town of Joaquin are used to hear-
ing the squeals of joy from crystal
Lake, a water park that was a
"roaring place in the Roaring
Twenties," a hot spot in the Fifties
and Sixties, and still a great place
to spend a warm summer day.
Owner Abner Whiddon has been
swamped with calls since he re-
opened the area three years ago.
