from each source. The period covered is 29 September 1993.
- (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source (Green Data):
-- There will be na successful assassination attempts
on PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat in the near term. He is heavily
guarded and currently well protected.
- (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source (Red Data):
-- The Iranians and Lebanese terrorist groups
(Hezbollah) are the organizations who are angry with PLO Chairman
Yasser Arafat. It would be these groups/organizations who would
be the most threatening to him at this time. It is not perceived
at this time that any harm will come to him. If there are
attempts on his life, they will be thwarted. He is highly
guarded and protected and many moderate Arab nations and Israel
are depending on him for their political and economic future.
- (S/NF/SG/LIMDIS) Source (Black Data):
-- The subject is currently in the vicinity of Jericho.
He is currently in a structure/compound with a fountain or
artisan well. There is a microwave dish nearby; it's most
prominent attribute is that it is pointing straight up. There is
a narrow foot path which is used to climb upwards along a steep
stone/rock or canyon wall. There is a ladder which leads from a
passage way or access tunnel up a square well or tower to a
level, open area.
-- There is a small group of individuals who are
desperate and expensive to hire. They have been fallowing
subject for five or six days. The impression is that they are
from within the subject's main group.

-- There is an association between some stone ruins and
a birthday-like celebration of some female relative of the
subject, i.e. daughter, niece or sister, that the subject will
attend. The subject will be present at this celebration when an
attempt will be made by those individuals previously mentioned
above. The individuals will be in place and waiting. They will
be extremely careful to only hit the subject and none of his
family.
-- Subject also has plans to be involved with a
gathering of people at a place reminiscent of the ruins in Petra,
Jordan. There are plans for a much larger operation to include
other assassination attempts on others besides Arafat to occur
there as well.
