SUBJECT: SRI Remote Viewing Documents Declassification
Thanks for your letter confirming that SRI has no
objection to CIA declassifying the original association it
had with SRI during the early 1970s when SRI was pursuing
remote viewing investigations for ORD. In order to apprise
you of the full range of material which we have given to the
American Institutes of Research (AIR) for review, I have
enclosed a detailed bibliography of the documents. If your
request relates to a desire to review further the material
itself, we can arrange to have an extra copy generated at
some point during the study. Let me know soon if this is
necessary since it will entail a lot of photocopying.
The already unclassified material listed in the
bibliography was given to AIR on 14 June. We are still in
the process of reviewing and declassifying the remaining
material, and this will be given to AIR in order of priority
should they desire it. They may not even request it if once
they have examined it they feel that it is not necessary to
the review.
