Mr. D'Amato is concerned with the reaction of four Senators and the fate of the DIA personnel assigned to the program. He will study SG1 I CIA D/OCA and CIA EX/DIR to discuss an option, pending the y results, of the DIA "viewers" being offered a rotational assignment to CIA studying forei remote viewing, He believes the STARGATE staff is being poorly used at DIA. 1 :1 raised, and Mr.D'Amato understands, the problems of "raising false hopes" that might accompany such an assignment. Mr. D'Arnato says Sen. Pell is a true believer but is retiring; Sen. Inouye is interested but won't intervene; Sen. Cohen is very interested but not publicly; and Sen. Glenn is interested enough that he might write a letter supporting continued research.
