FENOMENY I NAUKA DOC REF: TRUD (TRUDA), 891130, NR 273, 3 INF CTY: USSR (UR) SG1J INF LOC: MOSKVA INF DATE: 891129 COSATI: BIOLOGICAL AND MEDICAL SCIENCES (06) CLASSIF: UNCLASSIFIED RELEASE: NONE (XX) TEXT: ABSTRACT. THIS ARTICLE WAS PUBLISHED IN THE DECEMBER 19, 1989 ISSUE OF THE DAILY SNAP. THE ARTICLE REPORTS ON THE PROCEEDINGS OF THE FIRST DAY OF AN ALL UNION CONFERENCE, ENERGY INFORMATION EXCHANGE IN NATURE, WHICH OPENED IN MOSCOW ON NOVEMBER 29. PHYSICISTS, ASTROPHYSICISTS, GEOLOGISTS, BIOLOGISTS, PERSONS WITH EXTRASENSORY CAPABILITIES, AND STUDENTS OF UNIDENTIFIED FLYING OBJECTS, POLTERGEISTS AND OTHER ABNORMAL NATURAL PHENOMENA WERE AMONG THE PARTICIPANTS OF THIS CONFERENCE. IT WAS OPENED BY V. POLUNIN, SECRETARY OF THE USSR UNION OF SCIENTIFIC AND ENGINEERING' SOCIETIES. HE NOTED THAT RESEARCH OF ENERGY INFORMATION EXCHANGE WASONCE BANNED, AND THAT WORK IN THIS DIRECTION WAS SUBSEQUENTLY PURSUED ONLY BY SCATTERED GROUPS OF ENTHUSIASTS. ONE OF THE MAIN TASKS AT THE PRESENT TIME IS THEREFORE TO COORDINATE THEIR WORK AND SYSTEMATIZE KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE IN THIS FIELD. KAZNACHEYEV, MEMBER OF THE USSR ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCIENCES, aW WWVS;TrAT. CONDITIONS. KAZNACHEYEV POINTED JT T THAT THE-EFFFS,T.. IS PARTICULAR ON AND FOREIGN EXPERIMENTS IN WHICH CULTURES OF LIVING CELLS WERE PLACED IN TWO GLASS FLASKS CONNECTED AT THE MOUTHS.. THE TWO CULTURES WERE RELIABLY SEPARATED BY A BARRIER MADE OF QUARTZ GLASS, AND THERE WERE NO CHEMICAL CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE CULTURES. IF THE CELL CULTURE IN ONE OF THE FLASKS WAS INFECTED WITH A VIRUS OR EXPOSED TO POISONS OR AN IMPACT DOSE OF RADIATION, THE CULTURE IN THE OTHER FLASK WOULD ALSO BECOME DISEASED AND EVENTUALLY DIE. THE EXISTENCE OF AN INFORMATION CARRIER WHOSE NATURE IS STILL UNKNOWN HAS BEEN HYPOTHESIZED TO ACCOUNT FOR THIS PHENOMENON, KAZNACHEYEV RELATED. THE DEGREE OF INTERACTION FROM THE DEGREE OBSERVED IN EXPERIMENTS CONDUCTED ELSEWHERE. THIS HAS BEEN ATTRIBUTED TQ REPORTFD ON THE RES.C T TS.__ OF __ STUDIES OF LONG DISTANCE FL-TS,_ WHICH ON~TnGROUP OF CELLS CAN PRODUCE ON ANOTHER. HE COMMENTED IN POONfA(TIC_CHAMBFRS .
