DATA WASHINGTON, Sept. 30. (Reuters)- The Central Intelligence Agency conduct- ..ed experiments 16 years ago on circum- cised boys to determine whether the operation left any emotional aftereffects, according to secret documents released Friday by the agency. The aim was to determine' whether cir- cumcision at a significant stage.of a boy's development produced anxieties such;as fear of castration, according to the heavi- ly censored documents. "The inability:. to - resolve castration npiex is linked- with the later emotion-. al disorders, notably. homosexuaiity.7. said one C.I:A research paper that discussed the experiments.- In 1961; the, documents showed,.
