coalition of conservatives-that ardently support President Bush's-~

a consultant to the Freedom Task Force, would-like to accompany
him.-~ If convenient, they would like an appointment for either
January 3 or 4,1990. ~'~
Because of Zakhem's foreign policy experience, his knowledge
of the Persian Gulf and his cultural ties, he has been very
outspoken about the importance of our commitment to freedom in the
region. He has appeared as a guest on numerous network television
and radio programs, and has written extensively on the subject
articulating these views.
The Freedom Task Force is launching an intensive lobbying
campaign to sustain grassroots support for the President. In the
next month it will concentrate its efforts on those members of the
House and Senate that fail to support our present policy.
Ambassador Zakhem will be personally meeting with many lawmakers
to apprise them of his insights into the region. Your
perspectives would be most appreciated.
