SUBJECT: CIA's BI-weekly Report on Sinn-
Soviet Relations
Attached is the 49th Issue of this particular publication which was
originated nearly two years ago at your request. Recent issues
have been uninteresting since there has been very little out of the
ordinary to report.
It seems to me that your needs could be served between now and
the Moscow trip by making this report a monthly,4.i. I April, 1 May,
plus one just prior to the trip. After the trip we can reexamine the
situation. At that time it may be possible to cover Sino-Soviet rela-
tions adequately in the regular CIA publications.
RECOMMENDATION:
That you authorise me to inform CIA that the next issue of the Sino*
Soviet report be issued on l April with another on I May and a third
on or about 15 May.
