Additional Highlights
- There is some danger. that President Thieu
will hake action against opposition Lower House deputy and
publisher Ngo Cong Duc that would be very Likely to stir
up controversy abroad, reminiscent'of criticism aroused by
Thieu's har%dling of the Tran Ngoc Chau case las~k spring.
Duc has publicly proposed a eoal~.tion to'organize elections,
asked that a South Vietnamese peace delegation be represented
at the Paris talks, and advocated the total. withdrawal of
U,S. and A11ied forces.
