encouragement'to the idea that this government might prove acceptable
until the die is cast and Allende has become President. He hoped
that the British would suspend loans and other matters of this kind.

keep his schedule in Ireland.
On the way from the helicopter, Heath asked me what I thought,
and I told him it was a successful meeting and that the President
had been very relaxed. Heath clearly felt the same way.
