MEMORANDUM FOR: CIA/TCO
SUBJECT: Request for TALENT Clearances
1. Approval is requested to TALENT-clear 18 analyst positions
and 1 typist position in the Branch of the Office of 25X1
General Studies (GENS-33). Clearance for these positions is necessary
to handle project material satisfactorily and expeditiously. Reference
is made to recent conversations on the subject of adequate clearances
with and me.
2. Approval is also requested for the following positions:
a. Chief, Consumer Relations Group, Office of General
Studies. This position cuts across all production lines. It is
therefore necessary that he be made fully aware of developments
affecting both the project and of project developments as they may
affect other fields.
b. Deputy Chief, Division, Office of General Studies.
This position involves Intimate supervision of the NSA COMINT effort
