ACCOMPLISHMENTS 1. Phase II of the Block 1 Preliminary Design Review was completed on 18 December at TRW's SAFE. Development Facility in Torrance, California. Elements of the revised Project Plan, to be reviewed along with technical docu- mentation at the Phase III review in late January, began arriving at the CSPO on 21 Decker. B. UPCOMING EVENTS 1. On 5-6 January 1982, SAF E 25X1 COTR, will visit the SAFE Development Facility with the DIA Vice Director for Foreign Intelligence,,[ 25X1 and the vice Assistant Director for Resources and Systems, The purpose of the visit is to discuss DIA- specific SAFEisssues.. 25X1 ADSTAR ACCOMPLISEMTTS 1. Camera training was completed on 21 December. Verif ication training started on 22 December. 2. All magnetic tape inputs (provided by the Government) to SAS have' been successfully tested.# except the Document Security Input. This last input type is in the final stages of debugging.. D.
