it out of context."
Private letters? The statements come
from writings Welch circulated in start-
ing to organize the John Birch society.
How can it be said that this state-
ment is any less damaging in or out of
context: "Milton. Eisenhower is actunfy ?'ss
Dwight Eisenhower's superior and boss
within the Communist party." That is
what Welch wrote. He also wrote that
Allen Dulles, former director of .the
