During Mr. John Blake's absence from the city, I know
he would want me to inform you that our answer to your question,
on the source of funds for the Central Intelligence Agency Retire-
ment and Disability Fund was in error and that the funds are
included in the National Foreign Intelligence Program, and that
the appropriation was made, most recently, as a separate entry
in Title C of P. L. 95-111 (enclosed). "
Although we, of course, will correct the transcript record,
we- did want to make sure that you were informed directly ftiat
the answer we provided you at the hearing on 13 October was
incorrect. -
