SUBJECT Task Force Meeting of 17 October 1975
1. A note was made that Senator Church has a standing
invitation to meet with the Director to talk about the Agency's
organization.
2. Two additional "Issue Options and Actions" subjects
were identified:
Paper 13--What organizational improvements can be
made to improve the internal command and control of CIA.
(Action: Everyone)
Paper 14--Should GAO have audit authority over all CIA
funds? If so, how should such audit be controlled to avoid
disclosure of sources and methods. (Action: Director of
Finance, heading Agency Task Force on Subject)
3. Review of Angus Thuermer's paper on possible articles or

public presentations was accomplished; comments given to

4. Emphasis was given to encouraging statements favorable
to the Agency by senior statesmen. was commissioned to
collect names of potential candidates from attendees and to

danger areas in topics for senior statesmen's comments.

6. Attendees were reminded that outlines on the papers
regarding sensitive allegations as noted in the 11 October 1975
Task Force paper to attendees were due the IC Staff by 20 October.
Additionally, papers on "Issue Options and Actions" are due the IC
Staff on 21 October.
