Social Research in the conming.

"Trends and Tension in the Fed-
ral Government." During the fall
s unester, his topics will be
"Toward a National Judicial'

ate and the House of Represent-;
atives," Dec. 8.
In' the spring semester, 1 Mc
Carthy will spenic on "The Senate
and the President and Foreign
Policy" and "The ~ End of the
Legislative Era." Dates will be
announced.
All lectures are open to the
public and will be held at 8:30
P.M. in the New School Audi-
torium, 66 W. 12th St.
In addition to his lectures,
McCarthy will conduct informal
seminars on current legislative
problems for political science stu-
dents and on current legislative!
