(2) Division signal unit of about 200 men. Some Pero A .ei was allegedly transferred to sn uni-uentified location during the first ha.:.f of December 1949. These motor vehicles allegedly belonged to a recent supply shipment ;.nd received other numbers u on distribution to the unit. (2) Guards rifle units of about 350 troops, allegedly one battalion. () Artillery units of about 500 troops, allegedly two battalions. About 20 76.2-mm. ;Hans and ten 122.-mm howitzers belonged to the, units. (4) 11, ortar unit of about -.00 men, allegedly one battalion, equipped with (5) Engineer unit of about 200 troops v earing a si.ivet anchor on black 25X1 epaulets. Leseler Kaserne: Still occupied by: (1) Guard tank regiment of about 500 troops, equipped with 40 T34 tanks and 20 Shchuka tanr:s. (1) Local residents said that rocket launchers mounted on trucks and tank chassis were stationed in the cantoazment. e. The reported kaasernes are generally occupied by comp onent units of the 6th Gds Tank Div (Cadre} 25X1 The engineer unit in the r! c Kaserne may be a headquarters unit of the T Ii_rd "ids :::e::z \rmy (Ca--Are). 25X1 b.
