MEMORANDUM FOR THE RECORD
SUBJECT: General Briefing of Members of House
Appropriations Committee
Today I discussed with the Director the proposal of
Representative John 0. Marsh and Burt Talcott that they
bring several colleagues from the House Appropriations
Committee to the Agency for breakfast and a general briefing.
I explained to the Director that I had told Marsh that for
protocol and jurisdictional reasons this would have to have
the approval of Chairman Mahon. The Director said if the
Chairman approved he will be glad to cooperate.
