1. Prior to 13 Augw A.: 1952, the building at 4 Gorki Street, Budapest, was
constantly guar ;;ed by a Soviet sentry wearing black service color. Sine
Soviet officers frequently entered and left the building, source con-
cluded that the structure, in front of which rotor veW-.,:1es of the Hun-

recorscU tioned buildings including a mill and was served by a railroad
spur, was located at the intersection of Hevizi and Voeroeavari Streets
on ths,, south side of the Hevizi Street in Budapest. Source observed
heavy railroad and motor traffic and incoming shipments of fat, flour,
grain, oranges, furniture, electric motors, and military and civilian
clothes, fabrics and shoes.
3. Civilian workers, with whom source worked, said that a Soviet tank unit
was located in the old barracks installation in Jaszbereny (Q 48/J 11)
in AuL rxst 1951. Source from his place of work frequently saw Soviet tanks
proceeding on the road to Nagykata (G 48/J OC) in the direction of the,

west of Jaszbereny. He frequently observed that the Soviet armored cars
and rotor vehicles halted at two or three single-story buildings on the
northern edge of the training grounds befor5 they entered the terrain rC
the installation, which had wooden towers.
4. When passing through Szolnok (Q 48/0 38) in Decei..ber 1951, source fror. the
train observed a Soviet unit in the barracks installation southeast of
the railroad bridge ovol the Zagyva River. He saw two armored cars and

F-1 ~ 5a Prior to October 1951, source observed a fenced-in Soviet-guarded depot,
II in the northern section of the iakas Nyi? as Forest, on both side:, of the
road to HHar>?.any (R 48/J 86). On previous occasions, source frequently ob-
served concrete structures, about 6 x > and 8 x 10 meters, in the former
`f?a: garian & my aununition depot which was at this site and had been blown
up during World War 11. He learned fro n friends that the construction of
concrete structures for a now ar uniti,,n depot started at the site of the
former installation after 1947.

Fallow workers of source who came from the area south of Miskolc said.
that a soviet depot was about 10 km south of Miskolc in the Kakas N rilas
Forest on both sides of the road to kkarseny in the spring of 1951. `.he3
stated that numerous concrete structures were constructed in the sumo.ev
of 1950. Source in Goeroemboely (R 49/3 87) frequently observed Soviet
motor vehicles each carrying up to 20 unarmed Soviet soldiers. 5
Comment. The installation Is rerorted for the first time.

a reement on a Soviet arsmunition depot 10 k4m south of Miskolc which Is
reported for the first time.
