On 27 May this program was conducted for 39 persons from
Arny' (Map Service and Office of the Chief of Special Warfare),
Navy, Air Force, State, and USIA.
MISCELLANEOUS
1. A call was received recently from I & R
Staff, making certain inquiries relative to the briefing function
in OTR. He is conducting an inspection of the PPC Staff and
is of the opinion that~the briefing function there has exceeded
the PPC charter. He is recommending that some of these functions
be transferred to this office or elsewhere. A full discussion
has been held with the C/IS regarding the possible implications
of this recommendation.
2. An invitation has been extended to
to attend a dinner given by Washington
representative of the for top officials
of that service who will a visiting the Agency during the first
week of June.
