1. On 14 July 1953, a supply depot-was, at CU-609300, approximately 4 kilometers
north est.of Wonsan. This depot furnished supplies to all troops in the Wonsan
area. There were 250 women laborers and 20 men.. office workers employed at the
depot. The women laborers. were paid approximately 700 to 900'North Korean won
each month. They received a daily ration of four hops of rice, and their
families received two hops of rice
2. on 14 July 1953, a food storage area was at,XC-919605 inSandong-ni (N. 3$^29,
E 125 12),(X0.9261). The grains were stored in seven piles, at -intervals. of
15,meters. Each pile was 10 meters long,, 7 meters wide, and 10 meters iigh.
Approximately 1,000 bags of grains were in each pile, and the piles. were camou-
flaged.'with grass and pine trees. The. following grains and beans were stored
in the.area: 1,000 bags of polished rice; 300 bags of millet; 1y300 bags .of
beans; 1,200 bags of red beans; 1,500 bags of wheat; and 1,900 bags of unhulled.

storage area was managed bp.the Unyull People?s Committee in Hwanghae Province.
3 . On 30 J a n u a r y 1953, a consumers' guild was in a building at BS-17791+5 in Song-
bong=rayon (N. 37-53,,. E 126-05) '(B$-1+1+96) . The building was. 20 meters. long, 15
meters wide,'3 meters high, and had an open court in the center: The north
side of the building 'was used as billets; the east and west sides were used as
storages; and the south side we.a used as a, retail shop operated br,the,guild.
Approximately 70 to160 bags of rice were kept stored in the storage rooms at~-
all times. The retail, shop had the following items for sale: polished rice and
other grains, hemp cloth, soap,writing materials, grass mats, shovels.,. oils,
anchovies, and Hungarian-made shoes. The guild employed six persons, including
the chief; YI .(2621) (fnu), aged 1+0' and. a niitive of Kumhwa.

On 21 May 1953, the Sp-ho Food Ration Distribution Center was at the foot of
a mountain-at CV_842089 in Sohojin (N 39-50,. E 127-39) (CV-8410).. The center
was in a building, 10 meters long, 5-meters wide, and 3.5 meters high, with..a
black tin roof and tin walls. An office was in a revetment immediately east
of the building. The revetmentwa.s 3 meters long, 2 meters high, and 1.5
meters wide. Twenty bags of Chinese rice, 30 bags of sorghum, and one scale
were kept in the main building, and 30 bags of Chinese rice were stored in
the revetment. This distribution center rationed food to families of North
.Korean army troops in the'Sohojin area, and to North Korean army units sta-
tioned in the vicinity of CVr852o98.
