(FOR KEY SEE REVERSE) Oix public security divisions were formed from local 2 25X1 four public security divisions were to be formed in Hunan, 25X1 militia and self-protection columns from various military sub-districts, in Hupeh. Each division had a sti?ength of over 9)600 men. The 1 Division, under the command of TITAN Chih-ming (3008/18o7/211.94), who was also assistant-head of, the Public Security Bureau of the Central and South China .Military Area., was in Wuch'ang (N 30-32, E 114-17) and Hanyang (N 30-31, E :111+_11+) The 2 Division, commanded by CHOU Yu-li (0719/ 3266/3810)8 was at Euayuan (N 31-16, E'114-00), Hsiaokan (N 30-56, E 113-55), and Huangp?i (78o6/7095)_a The 3 Division was in Tienmen (N 30-19, E 113-15), and Chingshan (N 31-02, E 11.3-OT), under the command of Li Hsieh (2621/ 0204) who was also commander of the Tienmen Military Sub-Districts The 4 Division, commanded by YU K??.,ming (0060/0344/2494), had men stationed in Hsiangyang (N 32-01, F 1,12-04), Fanchleng (N 32-02, E 112-04), and Tasoyang (N 32-10, E 112-44). The 5 Division commanded by CH.' IU Chuin.g-t' ing (6726/ 0112/008:), was at Ich'ang (N 3042, E .111-17) and Itu (N 30-24, E 111-29).
